STEL Supply Inc. ("STEL", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to stelsupply.com and to how we handle information as the parent company of our brands.

Who we are

STEL SUPPLY INC. is a corporation registered in Ontario, Canada (Ontario Corporation No. 1001757327). We are responsible for the personal information we collect, and we follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Consent

We collect, use and share personal information only with your consent, unless the law allows otherwise. You give consent when you contact us, place an order or agree to marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, though this may limit what we can do for you, such as fulfilling an open order.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message when you contact us.
  • Order information when you buy from one of our brand stores, such as your name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number and order details. Payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Technical information that browsers send automatically, such as IP address, device and browser type, and pages visited. Our hosting provider may log this for security and performance.
  • Information from platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok and Pinterest when you interact with our pages or ads, in line with your settings on those platforms.

How we use it

  • To answer your questions and provide customer support.
  • To process, ship and support orders placed with our brands.
  • To run, secure and improve our websites and stores.
  • To send marketing emails or texts, only where you have agreed to receive them, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every message includes a way to unsubscribe.
  • To measure and improve our advertising on platforms such as Meta and TikTok.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Cookies and similar tools

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It serves its fonts and files from our own hosting, and our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may set a strictly necessary security cookie. Our brand stores may use cookies and pixels (for example the Meta Pixel or TikTok Pixel) to keep your cart working, understand how the store is used and measure ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage ad preferences in your Meta and TikTok account settings.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as much as they need:

  • E-commerce, payment and email providers (for example Shopify and Google Workspace).
  • Suppliers and shipping carriers that fulfil and deliver your order.
  • Advertising and analytics platforms (for example Meta and TikTok).
  • Website hosting and security providers (for example Cloudflare).
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law (for example, tax records under Canadian law). After that, we delete or anonymize it.

Your rights and choices

You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or withdraw your consent to its use, subject to legal limits. You can also make a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Data deletion

To have your personal information deleted, including any data received through a Facebook, Instagram or TikTok login or interaction, email [email protected] with the subject line "Delete my data" and the email or account you used.

We will confirm your request and complete it within 30 days, except for records we must keep by law.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Children

Our websites and stores are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
